The PRISM 3111 is a Single-Port T1 CSU/DSU used in applications where voice and data are combined over a single T1 circuit and router-based WAN connectivity. For disaster recovery, the 3111 device provides an integral RS-232 dial back-up port. The optional DSX-1 port connects to a PBX, channel bank or any other DSX-1 device. The device can be configured and managed using a variety of methods: terminal-driven VT100 interface, front panel LCD or SNMP/Telnet commands. Management access is via a SLIP interface or optional Ethernet interface.
